Chapter 1:  Many living things live on This planet. This is the third planet down immediately from Sun. Earth is a planet that is the fifth-largest in the sun’s system. In the solar system, there are a lot of things that The Sun is at the very centre of our solar system. Individuals discover Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and a lot of other moons and planets. There are also dwarf planets like Pluto and a lot of other moons. Chapter 3: How the Earth moves,  Rotation and revolution are the two types of things that happen to the Earth when it moves around the sun. In this particular instance, it’s called “rotation of earth.” When the Earth spins or moves around its own axis, this is called “rotation.” Revolution of the Earth: When the Earth moves around the sun, this is called the revolution of the Earth.

Maps show a lot of different things, such as political borders, physical features, roads, topography, population, climates, natural resources, and economic activities, but they also show a lot of other things. Every living thing and everything that isn’t living is in it.

It talks about the most important landforms on Earth in Chapter 6.  A landform is a natural thing that is on the surface of the Earth and it is called that. Examples: Mountains, Plateaus, and Plains are some of them, but there are more. They are different because of how they change. Chapter 8: India: Climate, Plants, and Wildlife.  From the Himalayas to the Thar desert, India has very different weather and plants. West Bengal has a lot of trees and grass. There are a lot of forests in West Bengal as well. It can be cold in winter and hot in summer in India. It can also be rainy or even monsoon in India at any time of year. Different types of plants need different types of weather. In the Indian forests, there are a lot of animals, like reptiles, amphibians and mammals. There are also insects, worms, and birds. Many of them live in the forest.
